Mr. Bill's Wheels

Mr. Bill's Wheels

I will begin this with an apology to the owners of this truck. Had I known how ill Bill was at the onset of this project, I would have taken you aside and discouraged his attempt.

However, looking back in my memories, I see that it was one of the best times of his life. Having access to actual new parts and supplies that were needed and funds that you supplied readily was a real treat for him.

Although he was in a great deal of pain over the last year, this was a labor of love for him. He put a lot of his blood, sweat and tears into it, and if some things are not quite up to his normal state of perfection, I hope that you can understand why.

James is taking all the parts and pieces to his shop to give it some semblance of order, and keep it out of the elements. It is now resting, like Bill. We have feelers out looking for someone capable and willing to finish the job. Better yet, check out the web-sites for Boyd Coddington or Chip Foose. They may be expensive, but they would "get-r-done"!

So this is how it ends for his family. When life hands you lemons, you suck it up and keep going. As my 9 year old grandson said, "Don't be real sad, he is in that big garage in the sky".
